Niagara County Recognizes National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

With National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week just concluding, Niagara County Legislator Mike Hill presented a resolution thanking and honoring all of our county dispatchers in the Sheriff’s Office for their tremendous efforts under very trying situations. In 2023 Niagara County Dispatchers handled 154,309 incidents.

.As Sheriff Mike Filicetti has said, Niagara County dispatchers are often times speaking to people experiencing the worst day of their lives. They handle these calls day after day with so much professionalism and compassion.  Law enforcement agencies across Niagara County appreciate the great work our dispatchers perform each and every day.
